This weekend the portugees singer Salvador Sobral managed to conquer the hearts of every Eurovision song watcher. It's the first time in history that Portugal wins the contest. The jazz ballad 'Amar Pelos Dois' was written by his sister Luisa (a famous singer-song-writer from Portugal). If you translate the song title you get: 'Loving for two'.
Sobral, born in 1989 in Lisbon and is from noble origin. He ended his studies as psychologist to concentrate on his music career. He studied at the Taller de Musics in Barcelona and started his own musical project. He's songs has to have a meaning, no fast-food songs without a deep message, he saids. In 2016 Salvador Sobral released his debut album 'Excuse Me'. Now he's world famous by his winning song.
