The name U2
The name 'U2' comes from the American 'Lockheed U-2 fighter plane' made by the Central Intelligence Agency and the United States Air Force in 1955. It was a top secret project. The aircraft served as a spy plane that could fly at an ultra-high altitude. This to explor enemy territory without undetected by enemy troops.
