The front-man Freddy Mercury was born in 1947 as Farrokch Bulsara in Zanzibar and has Parsische roots. His parents moved from British India to Zanzibar, but still Freddy spend most of his youth time in India. In 1963 he moved back to Zanzibar. In less than a year there a revolution break out in Zanzibar. Thousands of Arabs and Indians where killed. The family flee to the UK when he was 17.
