Info: Timo Maas is a German house producer, remixer and DJ. He played his first set in 1982, on a party in a friend's house, at the age of 17. In the beginning he played Top hits but 7 years later the new-wave, techno and house genre came out, a godsend to work with for Timo. From 1992, he made a breakthrough as DJ in the early German rave scene.
Beside deejaying he wanted to produce house and trance tracks, so in 1995 he released is first song 'The Final XS'. A second record 'Die Herdplatte' was made together with Gary D. From 1994 until 1996 he was a famous DJ at 'The Tunnel' in Hamburg. From than on Timo Maas began to release new tracks under different Labels and several aliases like 'Mad Dogs'.
Succes and albums.
In 1999 he made a remix of 'Dooms Night' by 'Azzido Da Bass' and became famous in the main dance stream. While he had success he made a mixed album called 'Music for the Maases volume 1' with all his previous released tracks and remixes on it. A second mixed album called 'Connected' followed. In 2002 his debut album 'Loud' was released with featered gueast appearances from Fin Quaye and Kelis. In 2005 he released 'Music for the Maases volume 2' with new tracks and remixes. His second album 'Pictures' had Neneh Cherry, Brian Molko from Placebo and Kelis as guest artists. And if you think that he quited making music... in 2013 he released his latest album 'Lifer'.
So Timo Maas is an excellent DJ and Producer of Electronic music and made many fine songs and remixes. He's a great contribute for the electronic music, he can be proud.
